Little Learners Nursery is part of the Bows and Arrows Group which specialises in OUSTANDING Nursery care in the local Area. We are a not for profit charity, which ensures every penny is reinvested back into ensuring the best possible care for your child.
Staff
We pride ourselves on our highly qualified and passionate staff team. All staff are trained to stretch and encourage children’s thinking and communication through play and everyday experiences.
The Nursery is run by experienced, highly qualified and passionate manager Michelle.
The Environment
Our Nursery rooms are warm, spacious and welcoming.
Our Baby Room is well equipped for the under 2’s, offering sensory and stimulating age appropriate natural resources and sleep area.
The toddler and pre-school rooms are divided into separate sub areas full of rich resources, such as a home corner, construction area, reading corner and mark making area. All rooms are set up to allow children freedom to choose resources based on their individual interests.
Outdoor Space
All rooms have free flow access to their own outdoor play area which we encourage the children to use come rain or shine. The Nursery has a large enclosed garden area which provides the children with a large outdoor classroom, allotment, sandpit and climbing equipment.
Hot Cooked Lunches
Healthy eating is very important to us, all our meals are nutritiously balanced and cater for all dietary requirements, intolerances and allergies. The Kitchen in which the food is served from is rated 5* (the highest food rating you can get) from the Food Standard Agency. We change our menu regularly according to seasonal availability.

Session Times
The session times which we offer our families are:
Morning: 8am or 8.30am – 11.30am or 1pm
Afternoon: 11.30am - 6pm and 1pm - 4pm or 6pm
All day: 8am or 8.30am – 4pm and 8am - 6pm
Please note, from September 2019, our session times have changed to:
Early: 8am - 9am
Morning: 9am - 1pm
Afternoon: 1pm - 5pm
Late: 5pm - 6pm
Please note these session times are offered all year round (except for a week’s shut down over Christmas and in August)
Fees
We pride ourselves on being an outstanding and friendly provider of childcare in Ipswich for all families. Hourly rates depend on the age of the child (prices effective 16/04/18)
0-2 years = £5.00
2-3 years = £4.70
3-5 years = £4.40
Please note from September 2019, our fees have changed to:
0-2 years = £5.25
2-3 years = £5.00
3-5 years = £4.85
Hot Lunches: £2.50
Drinks and snacks are included in these prices. But please note these prices do not include formula or lunches. For an additional £2 we can provide a hot lunch for your child, alternatively you can pack your own lunch. Nappies and wipes are included in the cost for the under 2's.
